Online shopping

If you haven't discovered online shopping yet, well, I am here to tell you that you're missing the greatest thing since white bread.

Instead of trying to beat the crowds, the traffic jams, and the picked over merchandise in stores, you can surf the net, find just what you want right in the comfort of your home and have it shipped to you or even to your family member.

One of the biggest pluses of shopping online is that you can find gifts that you wouldn't necessarily find in stores. Many stores carry a wider variety of merchandise on their websites than they do in their stores. If you live in a smaller community as we do, it's great to have access to stores that I wouldn't be able to get to unless I was willing to go to the city. That would involve traveling two plus hours each way.

Nope, give me online shopping any day. Especially at Christmas time. It's the only way to get that big job done. On Dancer, on Prancer, .........

A buzzworthy site

Buy.com has become one of my favorite sites. If I'm looking for something I need, it's the first website I check out because they offer such a great selection as well as very competitive prices. Whatever it is you're looking for, you'll find it there.

We live in the South. Even though the calendar says it's Fall, our temperatures are still often in the mid 80's. I needed a fan for our office now that we aren't using the air conditioner. I went to my favorite site, buy.com, and found a great selection of portable fans
and found just the one I was looking for.
